APERITIVI & DIGESTIVO
Taking its name from the grandmother of our founder, the third brand of botanical products is our Italian inspired range of Aperitivi & Digestivo. Comprising liqueurs, amari and fortified wine, each bottling will use raw materials from the UK, Italy and North Africa; the countries where our founder’s family originate.
Launched in December 2019, Pietro Nicola Nocino is the inaugural bottling from our range of Aperitivi & Digestivo. An aromatic, spiced and bittersweet Walnut Liqueur made using unripe Green Walnuts which are macerated in alcohol for forty days, and seasoned with an array of natural botanicals to contrast, compliment and unify the key flavour of green walnut.
Launched in March 2020, Pietro Nicola Caffè Margaux is the second offering from our range of Aperitivi & Digestivo, this time paying respect to Italy’s love affair with coffee. A rich, intense and bittersweet coffee spirit, Caffè Margaux consists of aged coffee beans, neutral grain spirit, Demerara sugar and water to allow the flavour of the coffee to take centre stage.
Launched in June 2020, Pietro Nicola Pescaro is the third offering from our range of Aperitivi & Digestivo, part inspired by a vintage bottling we obtained in 2010. A fresh, juicy and bittersweet fortified & aromatised wine, Pescaro is manufactured by macerating select herbs and spices in English peach wine, and fortifying with botanical spirit.
