TEAPOT BITTERS RECIPES

A selection of cocktails featuring the world's first bitters using tea as its base

Chelsea Dove

60ml / 2oz House of Botanicals Old Tom Gin
4 Dashes Dr. Adam’s Teapot Bitters
120ml / 4oz Pineapple Soda
15ml / 0.5oz Lemon Sherbet 
Pinch Vanilla Salt

Method: Build over ice and lightly stir
Glass: Highball
Garnish: Two pineapple fronds
Ice: Cubed

Aboukir Punch

60ml / 2oz Tawny Port
30ml / 1oz Plantation Barbados 5 Year Old Rum
3 Dashes Dr. Adam’s Teapot Bitters
30ml / 1oz Fresh Lemon Juice
2 Barspoons Caster Sugar

Method: Add sugar and lemon juice to cocktail shaker and stir until dissolved, add remaining ingredients, fill with ice and shake for 10 seconds
Glass: Highball 
Garnish: Fresh berries, fresh orange zest, fresh mint and cacao dust
Ice: Crushed

Garden Sour

37.5ml / 1.25oz Calvados
30ml / 1oz Elderflower Liqueur
15ml / 0.5oz Fresh Lemon Juice
22.5ml / 0.75oz Sugar Syrup [2-1]
2 Dashes Dr. Adam’s Teapot Bitters

Method:  Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker, fill with cubed ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
Glass: Chilled coupe
Garnish: Edible flower
Ice: N/A 

Chai Daiquiri

60ml / 2oz Havana Club 3 Year Old Rum
4 Dashes Dr. Adam’s Teapot Bitters
22.5ml / 0.75oz Fresh Lime Juice
15ml / 0.5oz Honey Syrup [1-1]

Method: Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker, fill with cubed ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
Glass: Chilled cocktail
Garnish: Dried lime wheel
Ice: N/A

Bhajan Cocktail

60ml / 2oz Sazerac Rye Whiskey
15ml / 0.5oz PX Sherry
4 Dashes Dr. Adam’s Teapot Bitters
1 Dash Dr. Adam’s Orinoco Aromatic Bitters

Method: Add all ingredients to mixing glass, fill with cubed ice and stir for 15-20 seconds
Glass: Chilled cocktail
Garnish: Cocktail cherry
Ice: N/A

Bittered Beton

30ml / 1oz House of Botanicals Old Tom Gin
30ml / 1oz Becherovka
3 Dashes Dr. Adam’s Teapot Bitters
120ml / 4oz Tonic Water

Method: Build all ingredients over cubed ice and lightly stir
Glass: Highball
Garnish: Fresh lemon peel
Ice: Cubed
